Texas Tech University is a public research university founded in 1923. At its inception, the university is just trying to be a research institution focusing on the atmosphere of a small liberal arts school, with the current name of the Texas Technology College. Universities that are part of the Texas Tech University System is located in Lubbock, Texas, United States.

Currently, the university has grown to become one of the world's top universities.
