Established in 1871, this university was originally a Baptist Union Theological Seminary, sponsored by the churches of Converge Worldwide, which educates students of over 65 Christian denominations in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Through school and college today, including the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Adult and Professional Studies, Bethel University offers more than 100 different undergraduate and advanced degree programs.
