Quinnipiac University is a private university founded by Samuel W. Tator, in 1929. The university is located in Hamden, Connecticut, United States.

This school offers 58 undergraduate majors and more than 20 graduate programs, and continuing education programs in selected professional fields, such as the School of Business, Communications, Health Sciences, Education and the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, the university also offers for students who want to study abroad and experimental learning programs.

In 2014, the university opened the new program, which is offered to students to live, learn, and work in Los Angeles, United States.

In addition to offering a variety of degree and education, the university also has a lot of organizations, including fraternities and there are 17 sororities. There is one organization that is under the auspices of the university's nationally recognized, namely The Quinnipiac Polling Institute. Where the organization is using students and non-students to conduct public opinion polls on politics and public policy.

The university is also always take part in any events or community activities. For example, events such as The Big Event, otherwise known as "National Community Service Day".

With the mascot, the Bobcats, of the university's sports teams compete with other participants in the NCAA Division I competition. With the exception of football, because the university has no football team.
