Loyola Marymount University is a Roman Catholic university founded in 1911. The University is located in Los Angeles, California, United States. The university is a member of the 28 member Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities and one of five Marymount institutions of higher education.

The university offers 60 majors and 56 undergraduate programs, 41 master's degrees, two doctorate degrees, and 12 degrees credential. Education of this university include the School of Film and Television, Communication, Arts, and Education.

Organizations that embrace the university's Greek system, including the 17 national fraternities and sororities. In addition, students on this campus can also participate in the activities of the organization and about 140 clubs, under the auspices of the campus.

The University has three campus buildings are LEED certified. There is a pride for this campus, because the campus is the first time in California, which recycles 100% of green waste.

In the last 10 years, many achievements and awards that have been won by the university, including the Nobel prize winning 2 and 1 Pulitzer Prize. In addition, as many as 19 students have received the gift of a Fulbright scholarship.

Of non-academic, athletic teams from these universities, compete with other participants in the NCAA Division I competition.
