New York University is a private university that was established in 1831. The university's main campus is located in the center of Greenwich Village, Manhattan.

The University offers courses in the program among liberal arts, science, education, health professions, law, medicine, business, the arts, communication, and social services. With over the times, this university has grown rapidly and now has 14 schools, colleges, and divisions.

New York University is the first university that has a global network with a comprehensive liberal arts campus in Abu Dhabi, and has several programs and research facilities which are located in Ghana, Argentina, Italy, Czech Republic, China, and Israel.

Many awards and achievements by these universities, one of which is the success of 70 students elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. And more exciting again, in 2014, a total of 12 faculty members have memnangkan Guggeinhem Fellowships.

Many important people and famous are alumni of the university, such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Alan Greenspan, Adam Sandler, and Def Jam Records.

Of non-academic, University of New York to compete with other participants in the competition of the NCAA Division III athletics.
