Bowling Green State University is a public university founded in 1920. The University which has a campus with an area of approximately 541.5 hectares is located in a small town, which is in Bowling Green, Ohio, United States.
The University offers to its students to select about 200 majors undergraduate, master's and doctorate, including the Early Childhood Education Program, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Liberal Studies, Visual Communication Technology, Applied Health Science, Nursing, and Advanced Tech Ed, where research and teaching program is one of the main focus.
As for the learning activities of students, the university has provided college or faculty different for each department programs, including the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business Administration, Faculty of Education and Human Development, Faculty of Health and Human Services, College of Technology, College of Musical Arts.
In addition to providing learning activities on campus, the university also offers online education for students who are outside the region or abroad. Nevertheless, nearly a majority of the students here is a native of Ohio, of which about 85% are undergraduate population.
In addition to studying, students at this university can also be incorporated in the various fraternities and sororities or organizations under the auspices of the university, of which there are SICSIC, Inter-Fraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Multicultural Greek Council.
Many important people and famous are members and alumni of the university, of which there is Daniel Ayalon, a former Israeli ambassador and James Carlos Blake, author and winner of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
Of the non-academic, from the university's sports teams competing with other participants in the NCAA Division I Athletics. Meanwhile, a proud sporting achievements of this university is the women's basketball team has won six Mid-American Conference title.
