Benedictine University was founded by the monks of St. Procopius Abbey, in 1887. The university is located outside the City of Chicago, IL. Until now, Benedictine University has continued to Roman Catholic tradition, such as the original purpose.
Benedictine University offers undergraduate programs in more than 51 traditional majors at several universities, as well as student exchange programs offer opportunities for students in 300 colleges or universities other.
In addition to these programs, the university also has a study abroad program in Florence, Italy. This program brings Benedictine University one of six universities to host US Department of State's Middle East Partnership Initiative, a program offering and bring students from the Middle East to learn the principles and values in America.
In terms of non-academic, the university is competing with 22 other universities in the event the three NCAA divisions.
To improve the relationship and communication with the students and families of students, university students always involve parents in any school activities.
