Weber State University is a coeducational public university, founded in 1889, by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The university is experiencing religious affiliation towards the change from private to public school academic. The university is located in the city of Ogden, Weber County, Utah, United States.

The University offers a variety of degree programs, including professional, liberal arts and technical certificates in addition to the associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees. Students at this university can choose from more than 250 different undergraduate programs and 11 graduate programs.
