University of Massachusetts Amherst is a public university, which is also the flagship of the University of Massachusetts system. University founded in 1863 is, precisely located in Amherst, Massachusetts, United States.
The University offers a variety of degree programs through a variety of majors courses, of which there are approximately 110 bachelor's programs, 74 master's and 47 doctoral programs. University motto sounds a bit creepy, "By the sword we seek peace; but peace only under liberty", but it's just a phrase that everyone, especially members of the university, can get the freedom and peace of doing each activity.
