University of Massachusetts Amherst is a public university, which is also the flagship of the University of Massachusetts system. University founded in 1863 is, precisely located in Amherst, Massachusetts, United States.

The University offers a variety of degree programs through a variety of majors courses, of which there are approximately 110 bachelor's programs, 74 master's and 47 doctoral programs. All of these programs can be reached through the program each course of study, of which there are engineering, nursing, sociology, psychology, history, agriculture, education and art.

And as additional information for students and prospective students, the Board of Trustees approved a freeze on tuition and mandatory fees for in-state undergraduates.

University motto sounds a bit creepy, "By the sword we seek peace; but peace only under liberty", but it's just a phrase that everyone, especially members of the university, can get the freedom and peace of doing each activity.

And from non-academic fields, with pride colors, maroon and white ie, dubbed by the Minutemen, the university's sports teams Compete in NCAA Division I and the Atlantic 10.
