University of Houston is a public research university founded in 1927. One of the largest universities in Texas is, precisely located in Houston, Texas, United States.

The University offers a variety of degree programs, with the various departments of study. There are approximately 300 degree programs that can be taken by students, in accordance with each department field of study, with about 13 colleges. Including the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, School of Art, Houston Law Center, College of Education, College of Technology, as well as the CT Bauer College of Business.

Of non-academic fields, students can develop their talents and demonstrate achievements in sport, by joining the university sports teams. Because, with the school mascot is the Cougar Shasta, this university sports teams compete with other participants in the competition NCAA Division I Athletics.
