Georgetown University is a private Catholic university founded in 1879. The university has about 54 buildings, with a total area of 104 hectares, located near the Potomac River, Washington, DC, USA.

The University offers a variety of degree programs in various fields of study majors. Among them there are about 180 programs in four undergraduate schools, three graduate and professional schools and Several specialized Institutes.
