In 1916, precisely in May, a student wrote the drama club, filmed and performed "The Maid of McMillan", which is the first silent movie ever produced by college students.
Of athletic activities in the university campus, WUSTL has been providing a wide range of sports facilities and infrastructure so that the students can develop their talents in sports, until finally they were able to demonstrate their achievements in these sports at the NCAA Division III athletics arena, a sports competition among universities followed by university sports teams, with the mascot, dubbed the Bear.
Just additional information from sports activities are in 1904, the first Olympic Games held in North America (the third Olympics in modern times) occurred on the university's Francis Field.
